The official name of this bear is くまモン (Kumamon). Kumamon is the mascot of Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Sometimes Japanese mascot becomes to be recognized as demoniac character in foreign countries, like どーもくん (Mr. Domo) of NHK. Kumamon is the latest case of the phenomenon.
